Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control for a Class of Nonlinear System
For a class of nonlinear system with parameter perturbation and external disturbance, adaptive fuzzy control can be used to approach the system unknown functions to reduce the control input and the steady-state error. And an adaptive switch control gain whose adaptive law is decreasing function is designed to weaken the system chattering, the switch gain of estimate will increase on the basis of the original without decreasing with the elimination of interference. If system is interferenced many times. Against the shortcomings, this paper proposes an improved adaptive law that can weaken the system chattering effectively while maintaining the strong robustness. The simulation results by tests show that this method is correct and effective
(E)-Ethyl 3-(4-fluoroanilino)-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)acrylate
In the title compound, C18H18FNO3, the dihedral angles between the two benzene rings and the plane through the acrylate group and the fluorophenyl ring are 61.58 (8) and 13.33 (9)°, respectively. Molecules are linked into ribbons through C—H⋯O and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, and further linked by C—H⋯π interactions, forming a three-dimensional network
Quantum electrodynamics in a whispering-gallery microcavity coated with a polymer nanolayer
Quasi-transverse-electric and -transverse-magnetic fundamental whispering
gallery modes in a polymer-coated silica microtoroid are theoretically
investigated and demonstrated to possess very high-quality factors. The
existence of a nanometer-thickness layer not only evidently reduces the cavity
mode volume but also draws the maximal electric field's position of the mode to
the outside of the silica toroid, where single quantum dots or nanocrystals are
located. Both effects result in a strongly enhanced coherent interaction
between a single dipole (for example, a single defect center in a diamond
crystal) and the quantized cavity mode. Since the coated microtoroid is highly
feasible and robust in experiments, it may offer an excellent platform to study
strong-coupling cavity quantum electrodynamics, quantum information, and
quantum computation
Scheme for implementing quantum information sharing via tripartite entangled state in cavity QED
We investigate economic protocol to securely distribute and reconstruct a
single-qubit quantum state between two users via a tripartite entangled state
in cavity QED. Our scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the
thermal field.Comment: Final version to appear in Physica
Primary Research on Bionic Design of Multi-surface Solar Concentrator Based on the Flower Structure
Plant can’t grow and reproduce without sunshine. Flowers have an inseparable relationship with sunshine as an important part of the plants. Most studies on the relationship of the plant and sunshine focus on the influence that sunshine reacts to plant, such as photosynthesis. However, there is no much more special attention on the relationship between flower structure and sunshine. Through the observation and comparison, the outlines of many flowers contour have some similarities with the solar concentrator. This paper delves into the relation between flower structure and light, in order to get the new ideas of designing solar concentrator.By means of extracting a contour line of flowers, their geometric structure models are got. Through simulation calculations of optical software, light-gathering performance of flowers is researched in the circumstance of different angle incident. Then based on researching the light-gathering process of the flowers, the innovative design ideas of bionics solar concentrators with excellent performance are presented. So in this way traditional thinking mode of single curve or surface used in solar concentrator design is expanded.Key words: flowers; bionic; solar concentrato
Up-expression of GAD65 in the Amygdala of the Rat Model of Chroric Immobilization Stress with Elevated Blood Glucose
It is believed that the hypothalamus is the regulating center for blood glucose levels, but how chronic stress leads to hyperglycemia is not known. In this experiment, we use the chronic immobilization stressed rat as a model, and found that only rats with increased expression of GAD65 in the amygdala have an elevated level of blood glucose. Considering there are fiber tracks between the amygdala and hypothalamus, including GABAergic projections, this result suggests that the changes in GAD65 expression in the amygdala may correlate with the changes in blood glucose levels, and point to the importance of the the amygdala in blood glucose regulation
Measuring health-related quality of life in children with cancer living in mainland China: feasibility, reliability and validity of the Chinese mandarin version of PedsQL 4.0 Generic Core Scales and 3.0 Cancer Module

Abstract

Background

The Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL) is widely used instrument to measure pediatric health-related quality of life (HRQOL) for children aged 2 to 18 years. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the feasibility, reliability and validity of the Chinese mandarin version of the PedsQL 4.0 Generic Core Scales and 3.0 Cancer Module in a group of Chinese children with cancer.

Methods

The PedsQL 4.0 Genetic Core Scales and the PedsQL 3.0 Cancer Module were administered to children with cancer (aged 5-18 years) and parents of such children (aged 2-18 years). For comparison, a survey on a demographically group-matched sample of the general population with children (aged 5-18) and parents of children (aged 2-18 years) was conducted with the PedsQL 4.0 Genetic Core Scales.

Result

The minimal mean percentage of missing item responses (except the School Functioning scale) supported the feasibility of the PedsQL 4.0 Generic Core Scales and 3.0 Cancer Module for Chinese children with cancer. Most of the scales showed satisfactory reliability with Cronbach's α of exceeding 0.70, and all scales demonstrated sufficient test-retest reliability. Assessing the clinical validity of the questionnaires, statistically significant difference was found between healthy children and children with cancer, and between children on-treatment versus off-treatment ≥12 months. Positive significant correlations were observed between the scores of the PedsQL 4.0 Generic Core Scale and the PedsQL 3.0 Cancer Module. Exploratory factor analysis demonstrated sufficient factorial validity. Moderate to good agreement was found between child self- and parent proxy-reports.

Conclusion

The findings support the feasibility, reliability and validity of the Chinese Mandarin version of PedsQL 4.0 Generic Core Scales and 3.0 Cancer Module in children with cancer living in mainland China.</p
